Hello,
I wanted to check and see if anyone else was experiencing an issue viewing Pat in Chrome.
Running Pat on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ with fully updated Buster OS
Pat version: Pat v0.11.0 (eb00df2) linux/arm - go1.16.5
PC running Windows 10 Pro, version 21H1 (64 bit)
Google Chrome version 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64 bit)
Mozilla Firefox version 90.0 (64 bit)
Using
Firefox on the PC to access the web GUI - the "Connect" dialog box
appears as expected. Picture below:
Using Chrome on the PC, the drop-down menus do not present as expected and are difficult to navigate as the boxes remain empty (I can still select items by typing in the box, though):
If I click on the "ARDOP" box again so that it is highlighted without the drop-down menu showing, I can type a letter and get the drop-down to show some options, but I only get the three that are immediately viewable and cannot see that I am selecting others (e.g., when viewing transports, ARDOP, and AX.25, I can still scroll down and select telnet though I cannot see that I have selected it until I hit enter). Another image from Chrome:
Chrome has been the browser that I have used to view pat v0.10.0 in the past without issue.
Both browsers are displaying at 100%. The only other difference that I can see is that Chrome has a "green light" whereas Firefox has a "yellow light" next to my call sign for the powerful features indicator. I don't recall getting a green light on Chrome before, so I have no idea what changed.
Am I the only one, or have others experienced this as well?
Thanks,
Clint - KI5HMI
