Hello:

First I have no experience in winlink and I would like to be able to send an email via HF but I am far from the stations that could listen to me (my QTH is FF46qm). My configuration is a KX3 radio, Mac notebook and USB Signalink.

I installed V0.6.1 and hamlib in OSX. The command "rigctld -m 229 -r /dev/tty.usbserial-AH03HNKY -s 38400" does not throw me error to control the KX3.

When I run "pat http" the web GUI works for me.

At this point I find myself lost ...
I tried via web GUI to connect (telnet) to WL2K and it throws me the following error:

2018/08/24 02:18:57 kx3 ready. Dial frequency is 7.038.60 MHz.
2018/08/24 02:18:57 Starting HTTP service (localhost: 8080) ...
2018/08/24 02:19:24 Connecting to WL2K (telnet) ...
2018/08/24 02:19:35 Unable to establish connection to remote: Error while logging in: EOF

During this process the radio did not broadcast.

Any recommendations for the next steps?
Greetings from Chile

Are you able to log into Winlink through the web portal? https://winlink.org/user

Nicolas, did you ever get fully set up? I have the same configuration as you, but I'm not sure which mode to use since  each would require a custom approach.
