to pat-users
'pat http' auto starts when I boot my computer.
I would rather start 'pat http' from CLI instead.
Then close 'pat http' with a control-C from the CLI.
How do I do this?

You can disable to systemd service.
sudo systemctl stop pat@$USER
sudo systemctl disable pat@$USER
