Set default transport as "telnet"?

Hi,

could not find a way reading the docs or elsewhere to set the "telnet" transport as default

any help?

In the browser window go to Action, and then open the Connect dialog.
In (select alias) the only choice is telenet. Select that and the target and address will fill in automatically.

Hi Dave,

this is what I do every try ....  but I was wandering if there is a way to set the default alias already fixed on Telnet instead of selecting each time I open Pat>Action>Connect

Unfortunately, we don't have such a feature. It would be great to find a solution to this though.

How about if the connect modal's state was persisted into the browser's local storage? That way it would "remember" your previous choice even if you close the browser :)

Martin,

I think that would be very useful.

BTW, I'm running Pat on Windows 7 with ARDOPC and VARAHF. Things seem to work well. I've tinkered with some batch files that make it a little less tedious. Will eventually try it on a Pi.

That’s easy :-)


1. Install Go (https://go.dev/dl/)
2. Clone the repo and checkout the correct branch
3. ./make.bash (alt. go build)
