I am trying to constrain the proportions while cropping with PSP 7.04, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I've gone to the Help section, but it doesn't give any clear instructions on this. I've also tried holding down on the Shift and Control keys, but still no joy. Does anyone know how to do this since this is a very basic procedure that should be available on this relatively sophisticated software?

Yeah, I already know how to use the crop tool. However, if, for example, I have a picture size of 1200 x 1600 pixels, I want this size to remain constant when I'm cropping. Unfortunately, when I use the PSP crop tool, it gives me irregular size results. When I use Photoshop, I can constrain the proportions so that they remain the same. Is it possible to do the same thing with PSP?

My prior experience to doing this is.. well none existent. That's both the tutorial, and putting glows on Lightsabers whether it be in Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I'm using Paint Shop Pro version 7.04.
This tutorial will teach you how to create pogs from scratch. Before you start, you will need a good image editing program. For a Windows system, I suggest Paint Shop Pro. You can get the shareware version of Paint Shop Pro X from , or if, like me, you're running a computer that's too old for that version, you can get version 7.04 here.
(Other programs I have used in the past for my gallery content include: Adobe Photoshop 6, Adobe Flash Professional CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS5.5, IrfanView 4.00, Jasc Animation Shop 3.11, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 6, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.04, NCH Wavepad, Windows Movie Maker.)

PaintShop Pro (PSP) is a raster and vector graphics editor for Microsoft Windows. It was originally published by Jasc Software. In October 2004, Corel purchased Jasc Software and the distribution rights to PaintShop Pro. PSP functionality can be extended by Photoshop-compatible plugins.
From 2006 to 2011 (versions XI to X3), PaintShop Pro was marketed as "Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo". Having dropped the "Photo" part of the name in version X4, Paintshop Pro X5 was derived from Ulead Photo Explorer after Corel's acquisition of Ulead.[8]
Adds face recognition, instant effects palette, graduate filter effect, Retro Lab, single RAW photo, run multiple scripts, Corel guide, photo mapping, support for Adobe Photoshop brushes, RAW/JPG pair filtering, 16-bit supported in 57 additional adjustments and effects, enhanced tools (text, crop, HDR, photo blend), Share My Trip on-line slide show creation[55]
