Passter missing buttons in Linux Mint & Ubuntu

After updating Passter to version 1.3.1, I'm unable to save (new & changed) passwords in Ubuntu 12.10 and Linux Mint 13. I don't know which version is the last one that worked fine.

I get the dialog asking "Would you like to change the password ..." but there are no buttons to be clicked. Passter 1.3.1 works fine in Windows 7 and displays Yes/No buttons properly.

so... when might sooner be? this is still an issue...

(luckily it's possible to manually add passwords in the settings for the few times it's needed)
