The original model was the Passport 40. They added the sugar scoop and called it a 41. They then extended the transom and called it a 43. Both 41s and 43s were built from the same mold. The 40 and 41 hulls were identical except for the scoop, and we actually
have the 41 deck and coachroof on a 40 hull.

Hello friends, can anyone explain the difference between Royal Passport models and traditional Passport models? There is a boat for sale that has exactly the same interior as our "Passport 42" but it is called a Royal Passport 43. Our transom
is a little shorter, and sugar scoop, but that's the only exterior difference. I've been searching for history on our boat since we acquired it this summer... finally piecing things together!
