Hi All,

Our regrets on the lack of communication lately. Been trying to
wait for State Representatives get their new room assignments. It is not
yet done but we can no longer wait. There are things happening and we are
hoping for your participation. First and foremost is that a new legislative
session has started and in Massachusetts we have two bills filed. H85 is
the Amendment based on "Corporations are not People, Money is not Speech"
https://malegislature.gov/Bills/191/H85 also attached is a pdf of the bill
with the co-sponsors also found on the link. H686 is about "Foreign
Nationals/ Disclosure" https://malegislature.gov/Bills/191/H686 also
attached.

Before getting in to the State House effort we would like to
bring your attention to a couple of things. With the Democratic Party
taking over the U.S. House they have put forward HR1
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/1/text?r=1 which is
about campaign reform. Also time is running out real soon to apply to be on
the "Citizens-Commission" that is the result of Question 2 last election.
https://www.mass.gov/forms/citizens-commission-application. Participation
is key to having our voices heard. Also remember our Ballot initiative
effort in the Fall.

We start our State House effort with a State House Day on
Wednesday April 3rd. We will meet in the conference room #413E from 1 - 4
pm. I will try to be there early Please contact me with any questions at
781 593 3042. The intention is to reach out to legislators. This would be
helped if we know that you are attending and that you try to contact your
State Senator and Representative for an opportunity to meet. Please feel
free to show up with no notice. For all, we would ask that you contact your
State Senator and Representative especially around that day and time. We
also need help in Thanking Our Sponsor and Co-sponsors along with reaching
out to those in the committees hearing our Bills. There has been a lot of
confusion when reaching out to legislators. Make sure that you let them
know that you are supporting PassMassAmendment's efforts, H85 and H686, not
to be confused with a call for an Article V Convention. Please be clear.

The Amendment, H85, will have its Judiciary Committee Hearing
first as Amendments need to be acted upon by the end of April 2019. It
would really be a great help if you could show up in support, Usually any
who wish to speak at the Hearing get the opportunity. Their will be a list
to sign up to just prior to the start of the Hearing. As soon as we hear
the day and time we will inform. We need to work on contacting the
Committees with the Joint Judiciary being first hearing the Amendment. It
might be 6 months before any action on H686 so Judiciary and H85 is the
main focus right now.https://malegislature.gov/Committees/Detail/J19 Feel
free to contact all. Again, please be clear that you are asking for support
of PassMassAmendment's efforts with H85 and H686

To all who have made it this far I would like Thank You Kindly
and suggest that you should sign up for our Action List. We use our Main
List as little as possible. Usually at the most is once a month. The Action
List will be used to keep you informed more frequently. Contact Terra at
passmass...@gmail.com to sign up and get more involved.

I would end by stating that until we get the corrupting
influence of corporations and big money out of the political process all
issues that adversely affect our lives will not be resolved to our
satisfaction. Top issues are the Environment, Wars, Healthcare... name
them. Money out is first.

We at PassMassAmendment would like to Thank You All for your
support and would and suggest that if you had an inclination to help the
effort in any way, now is the time. My regrets for the delays on our part.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions

Again, Thanx,

Nick Bokron
