PassMassAmendment Action List Senate Bill S9

     Hi All,

          

          Welcome to the PassMassAmendment(PMA) Action List.

          We told everyone signing up to our list that we would keep announcements to around once a month with an option to join the Action List for more communication. This is an open forum hopefully keeping the communications about our efforts trying to get big money and corporations out of the political process. It had not been used in a while.

            At this time our focus is on getting legislators to co-sponsor and contacting all members of the Joint Election Committee,  https://malegislature.gov/Committees/Detail/J15.  to ask for their support getting Senate Bill #S9, sponsored by State Senator Paul Mark, out of committee with a favorable rating. The Joint Elections Committee accepts written testimony/ email and anyone needing ideas or help please reach out. The members of the Joint Election Committee just got announced and now is the time, at the beginning of the process, to reach out

            We also need to reach out to organizations. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Since the beginning I have been telling folks that until you get the corrupting influence of big money and corporations out of the political process, the issues most important to you will not be resolved to your satisfaction.
