Hi
folks... when you're petitioning, and people say, "I signed that
already", pls consider that there's another petition out there
that looks to deal with "reducing money in politics".
But that "other petition" is to STUDY and ADVOCATE.
The one we're doing, is Petition J, to actually MAKE LAW to
reduce out of state spending on Massachusetts elections and
ballot initiatives.
The other petition is to create a commission to study and
advocate.
Please tell people the difference.
Personally, I am getting their signature anyway, and will let
the clerks sort it out. I'd rather risk having two sigs, one
that doesn't count, than to risk missing a new sig. But that's
just me. You can do what you like...but I'm responding to people
asking me what to do, and for someone writing in on the topic
just now...and letting you know what I'm personally doing.
