Hi All,
Some of you folks might have been expecting more from our "Action List". Well, now is the time for Action. We have the petitioning going on and also a Hearing in the Supreme Judicial Court on Tuesday September 26th at 2:30 in Courtroom 2.
At our last meeting we decided to open the Action List to All with some restrictions. We expect comments to be about events and meet ups for gathering signatures. Any abuse of the list will result in access denied. If this works out well we could open it up again next year.
Terra, if this list is not open yet, we have received petition forms and it is time to open up.
A quick comment on our SJC Hearing. Our petition to address "Foreign Nationals" and through it, "Dark Money", has not been certified. Our Hearing on Tuesday is not about challenging the non-certification, it is about "Equal Protection" and "Innocent Until Proven Guilty".
It has been long standing precedent that when petition language has not been certified there is a process for the petitioners to file a Complaint/ Order with the SJC. It has been previously stated that the agreement is that to make sure that the petitioners are not harmed by a court case that would extend past the signature gathering period, thereby ending the effort, and not having the Hearing until the required amount of signatures are gathered, so as to not burden the Court, the non certified petition would be treated as certified so as to allow the petitioners the opportunity to gather the required amount before the need for a court case. Last year we were forced to agree to an Order where the Clerks were not obligated or required to certify the signatures. This caused us great harm. We will not agree to that this year. Our petition on non-residents has been certified, giving us backup, and we have decided to fight for our rights as Citizens. We are not only fighting for PassMass but for all those Citizens following in our footsteps trying to exercise their constitutional right to alter government. Please join us on Tuesday to support PMA and YOU.
It is a bit confusing and if you have questions please call me.
