Greetings to the PHNW community

Hi All,

I recently relocated to eastern Washington from Colorado where I focused on Passive House design for residential and commercial applications. I just took a job at the satellite office of Prentiss Balance and Wickline (located in Winthrop, WA) to help them build momentum around high performance projects. 

For the past 5 years I was running my own small firm in Denver called Shape Architecture, which I recently sold to my business partner. We currently have a few projects that are pre-certified as well as city planning approval for a PHI certified Hotel in Gunnison, CO (climate zone 7).

Before Denver, I worked at Kaplan Thompson Architects for 4 years and along with Jesse Thompson, was the lead designer CPHC for single family projects, a PHI school and a 45-unit multifamily project. 

I studied architecture in Eugene and am thrilled to be back in the PNW! I realize I'm off the beaten path but would love to be involved / contribute to the movement however I can. I look forward to meeting some of you soon. In the meantime, please pass on any upcoming events and please let me know if I can help / collaborate in any way. Cheers!

Wow, lucky you in WA! Morgan's a super cool, very talented and intelligent guy. Somebody get him engaged before I find a way to convince him to move to California! Congrats on the move, Morgan; we enjoyed visiting Winthrop a few years back - introduced my kids to tubing in the river there and stayed in the "Rolling Huts." It was summer so I didn't fret over the thermal bridging so much. :-)
