Rumor has it that the PHnw board would like to go on a deep dive into the depths of panelization as a potential “sea change” for buildings. The industry is growing and continually and improving itself regardless of recent “unsuccessful scaling and investment choices”.

Would google group readers find a day of diving and sharing interesting? Perhaps a well curated look at the state of the industry?

With and without windows?
Add mechanicals?
Vegan panels?

Please thumbs up 👍 if you’d find value in an event like this.

Food for thought?

An article and video podcast comparing agriculture's response to the need for improving productivity and sustainability (yes, that would be technology) vs the construction industry's snail's pace to do the same. Both industries must address (have addressed) a similar range of variabilities in order to automate.

Enjoy,
Carol

Consider talking to the WUFI guys from Oak Ridge. They do a lot of building systems testing and probably have research into panelization with a lot of different products.
