カナダのpassionsimard によると、２月２２日に、ルネのお父さんのジャンロックしマール氏が　亡くなったそうです。
ぜんそく、心臓病、糖尿病、肺気腫などの多くの病気があったそうです。ルネやナタリーを含めた７人の子供たちにみとられて病院でなくなったそうです。ナ
タリーとは、数年前からあまり仲の良くない関係にあったそうですが、この数ヶ月のうちに元の親しい関係を戻したそうです。

ナタリーとルネは、このことについてまだ記者会見などはしていません。

お葬式の日時、場所などは、まだ未定。

Jean Roch Simard deceased:
he passed away on 22nd of Feb at the Cite hospital of health in Laval
at the age of 78.
he suffered from many health issues, such as emphysema, asthma,
cardiac problem and diabetes.
He died surrounded by his seven children including rene and nathalie.
Nathalie has gained close relationship with her father in the past few
months. Nathalie and Rene have not made any official comments.

no announcement has made on the date and place of the funeral.
