The PASS team is happy to announce the release of version 0.6.0. In this release, we introduced java implementations of the pass-journal-loader, pass-grant-loader and submission status services. This release also introduces support for user token authentication, updates to use Java 17 in several repositories, converts pass-auth to TypeScript, integrates the user interface with the API for the policy service, introduces a simplified branding strategy along with default branding fallbacks to enable organization specific look and feel, and provides an action for publishing to an AWS SNS (Simple Notification Service) topic to facilitate deploying to AWS infrastructure.
Our next release, version 0.7.0, is scheduled to be completed at the end of June. That release will focus on the deposit and notification services, including the following work:
* Notification service ported to new framework
* Deposit service ported to new framework
* Deploy a staging environment which runs the data loaders
* Test the staging environment interactions with IDP (Identity Provider)
