Hello Navneet,

Please find below the tasks worked today
1) Investigated and resolved the logging issue
Updates: Kindly check the follow once the code merged
i) The AssemblyInfo.cs file in DAL and BLL layer should have the following entry.
[assembly: log4net.Config.XmlConfigurator(ConfigFile = "log4net.xml", Watch = true)]
ii) pasdmLog is the database log table. In the latest shared code base this table is modified to dmLog and this table does not exists in the database.
iii) The ConnectionString entry should be explicitly mentioned in log4net.xml file too.

2) Removed the hard-coded values for notification and placed them in Web.config file. Ideally these values need to be retrieved from database.

The latest code base DM_20130514_V2.zip is uploaded and shared on Google Drive

Regards,
Kalpana

Hi Kalpana,

I checked on my local machine as well as prod (DemandManagment) database and both have 'pasdmLog' table. Which db are you referring to? Production is pointing to 'DemandManagement'  Database. I never changed 'pasdmLog' table name.

Thanks
-Ashish

Hi Ashish,

The table name is modified in the code base. The database side is fair. I put this point across to make sure that we maintain the same table name in code base.

Regards,
Kalpana
