Hallo, I would like to ask how to populate a new attribute field using logic with python as standalone script without opening Raster Calculator and pasting the script attached below. How to assign with python the information from which attribute(s) and from which dataset the new attribute will be populated?

Thank you for the answer, but I am not working on raster but on polygon shapefile and I would like to run it as standalone python script, so I think the Con function will not help me much. I am looking for a script that indicates me the input data and input attributes in the attribute table from which the logic statement is evaluated to populate a new attribute in my polygon shapefile.

Do you know maybe what might be wrong in my code? I think it might be because of the line attached below, because the example code was taking area and I want to reclassify my input data to another classes and I am not sure if my implementation is correct. In the line attached below I wanted to take the attribute value to calculate the new attribute.

Thank you for your informative answer. I corrected the script accordingly, but unfortunately, I still have the same error. Do you see maybe some other error in my script that may cause this error? I think that I implemented everything like in the example on esri website, but it does not work.

Hi all,
As the title stated, I'd like to know how safe is it to use in page display logic with force response. So far, the survey has been working quite well during testing both in the preview and in the data it receives, but I'm a bit worried with the message "in page display logic may behave unexpectedly with Validation Options". If it's not safe, is there any alternative? Thanks for the help!

Best regards,
J

Hello, jksinamo Display logic will work fine along with force response as long as the logic that you have set in the display logic is correct.
Alternative can be that you add this question in a block and use survey flow branch if logic to view the block-based upon your condition.

Just to add my two cents, I've always felt that message was a false alarm, and I'm surprised Qualtrics has kept it in the platform. I've programmed dozens and dozens of pages with questions that use display logic and force response and have not had an issue, in spite of what the message suggests.

_44204 _44218Thank you both for the response - I was referring specifically to "in page" display logic used with forced response validation option - Is that still the case with these specific settings?

I'm really excited to have received my Komplete Kontrol S88 MK3 keyboard today. However, when I started using it, I encountered a problem where many instruments in Kontakt 7 would cause the host to crash when the keyboard is connected (some instruments like Alicia's Keys and Action Strikes don't crash, but others like Amati Viola and Hybrid Keys do). The instruments load normally when I turn off the keyboard's power. Also, there's no issue loading these instruments in the Komplete Kontrol software when the keyboard is connected, and running Kontakt 7 standalone with the same instruments works fine too. Using Rosetta to open Logic and then loading Kontakt with the same instruments also doesn't cause any issues.

@TanX I'm sorry, I just saw that you were on Sonoma, the fix doesn't work if you're on Sonoma. The issue is being worked on (Bug number: KT-8692), as well as full official Sonoma support. In the meantime you can use the Komplete Kontrol plug-in instead of Kontakt.

Kontakt 7.8.1 is released, 7.9 is unreleased but releasing very soon. When 7.8.1 released, so too did email comms intended instead for 7.9. So this introduced internal and external confusion - thinking we had shipped support for Sonoma. Until 7.9, it is not official. I too fell into that confusion. My apologies.

@Matthew_NI Hi! Just bought Komplete Kontol s88 mk3, great HW, but it's very sad it's currently not usable in Logic pro/Kontakt 7. Can you please tell me when Kontakt 7.9 will be out? Hope this bug will be fixed with it. There's no way for me to downgrade to Ventura...

Hi everyone!
Is it possible to add more than one condition when configuring the "Skip Logic" functionality? In my mind it should be possible, just as it is with "Display logic" option. Right?
Thanks in advance

Skip logic is relatively limited. I tend to use Survey Flow and split up my questions into different blocks instead, which give you a lot more flexibility. The only issue is the back button that Qualtrics refuses to make available between blocks with branches.

I have created a table used as a dropdown for a form, where I have a field that needs to be conditionally required when a specific value is set. When trying to setup the logic, it states it is an invalid condition.

1) Is this browser-related?
It could be that the validation error is somehow disabling the field in certain browsers. Can you try logging into Zapier Interfaces within a different web browser like Google Chrome for example to see whether that allows you to successfully add the conditional logic to the Date Filed field?

Apologies for the delay here. Have you referenced this Help Article? It should help get you down the right path. I would first recommend that you double check the event variables by following the steps below:

By logic without equality I mean those kind of logics where equality is treated as a binary relation satisfying some axioms, as opposed to a logics where equality is a logical symbol satisfying some inference rules.

In my understanding there should be no difference at the syntactic level between logics with or without equality since the syntax should not be able to distinguish a logic-primitive predicate or any other predicate (but in case I am wrong please correct me).

So I am wondering what are the differences at a semantic level between these kind of logics. In particular I am wondering whether all the definitions and theorems of classical model theory can be transported verbatim to the without-equality logics.

First of all while quotienting for the equivalence relation should provide a (elementary?) equivalent model it does not (necessarily) preserves the homomorphisms: consider a set with an equivalence relation that identifies all elements, the corresponding quotient structure should be the terminal model (in the sense of category theory) but the first model clearly does not have to be a terminal object in the category.

Also it seems to me that one could lose the characterisation of homomorphisms as mapping that preserve atomic formulas, since, if we drop the requirement of interpreting the equality symbol as the identity relation, then we could have mappings that preserve atomic formulas but for some operations symbols do not respect the external equality: i.e. we could have a mapping $f \colon A \to B$ and an operation symbol $o$ such that $$B \models f(o^A(a)) = o^B(f(a))$$but $f(o^A(a))$ and $o^B(f(a))$ are not identical.

If equality is not treated in a special way, then we may still express the fact that it is an equivalence relation, but the substution rule is not directly expressible. We might try to simulate the substitution rule by further axioms stating that all function symbols and relations respect equality, but at that point we might as well admit we've just axiomatized the substitution rule by hand.

When dealing with model theory without equality, I think it is better not to deal with isomorphisms (functions) but with isomorphism relations. For example, in order to recover Frass's theorem, one may consider partial isomorphism relations because one cannot infer the existence of a partial isomorphism from the satisfaction of the same atomic formulas when equality is absent.

1) A natural question in foundational investigations is: what are the minimal resources that a classical logical system must have in order to be a possible vehicle for classical mathematical reasoning? One can, with first-order logic without equality, axiomatize set theory with only one primitive binary relation (membership). So, equality is certainly not part of the minimum. Is this (first-order logic with membership but without equality) the minimal vehicle? For one interpretation of what is meant by classical mathematical reasoning, one can prove, using some model theory without equality, that it is not.

2) For pedagogical purposes, results in logic without equality are usually simpler to prove, one can get more focused on the essential ideas, not being distracted by some technical details. For example, the construction of the canonical structure is simpler, either from Hintikka sets or from maximal Henkin sets. Also, proof theory without equality is simpler. For example, one need not talk about quasi-tautologies in Herbrand's theorem without equality. The proof-theoretic characterizations of logical theorems are clearer in this setting. It is more general and simpler.

A memristive device, which can also be called a memristor32, is a passive two-terminal electrical component with a programmable conductivity that depends on its previous history of operation. Memristors can act as the artificial equivalent of biological synapses due to their ability to store information as a conductance value33, thus enabling data storage and processing with a single device. They can be used in electronic neural networks to adjust the connection strengths at nodes between crossbars, acting as the basic unit for brain-inspired, or neuromorphic, computing34.
