Pasadena Pickup - Tuesday Night - Temporary Hiatus

Hi all,

Just wanted to update the community as to why there haven't been notices (from me) for Tues Night games lately.

The primary reason is low likelihood of critical mass for a min 5v5 game at the moment.

While Victory does appear to have lights and space these weeks, Winter League Open Division has scheduled games on Tues and does siphon off at least a handful of regulars that would make it hard to get numbers.

When Winter League wraps up, I'll make a concerted effort to restart. (It's harder to justify driving out to Victory nowadays as I don't live as close any more.)

As an aside, I'm thinking of utilizing Discord either on a dedicated Pasadena server or piggybacking LUFC's east-side channel to conduct attendance polling to see if that might convince more people to show if people know a game is actually going to have players.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I like the idea of some kind of headcount if we’re not sure we’ll get enough people out. 3 on 3 has its limits and not knowing if there will be a game will keep some people from showing up. 

I’ll target playing again by end of March. Till then it’s just throwing and PT.
