The city is closing the baseball infields at Victory park and Washington park. My interpretation of the message below is the concern is primarily from inhaled dust from bare soil and grassy areas should be less of a concern. Link to the source info below.
I’m going to suggest that we continue our games as planned at Victory park and avoid the infield areas.
Assuming the lights are on tonight, I expect that the softball team (the one that pays for the lights) will be practicing on the grass.
We will work around them and move to the upper field if necessary.
Hope to see you at Victory Park tonight. I plan on being there and will share the info with the softball, volleyball, and jugglers that are usually there.
