Dear Friends,

I would like to share and recommend a wonderfully curated course by School for Environment and Sustainability at Michigan University. You can join the course at https://www.coursera.org/learn/act-on-climate. It is free if you only want to learn without certification.

This course has been collaboratively developed by Faculty and Students of the University. The course critically looks at Climate Change as a political challenge, how every small action can change social attitude, behavioural social change theories, convincing skeptics to people who want to act...

The course takes the learner through different challenges like it being a polarizing issue and how it can taken in the spirit of collaboration, ecological amnesia for perfectly rational reasons, disconnect from political, social, and private life, and suggest ways to become a galvanising force for humanity, leaving us all not just safer from extreme weather, but with societies that are safer and fairer in all kinds of other ways as well.

Please share the details with the hashtag #UMichActonClimate with people who might be interested.

Best regards,

Pramod
