Sharing experiences of Paryavaran Mitra Teachers


In this edition of the newsletter we want to share with you insights from two Paryavaran Mitra teachers from Ahmedabad who have done exemplary work in integrating EE and ESD in the curriculum and introduced sustainability as a way of life in the school community. Ms. Geetika Saluja from St. Kabir Naranpura and Ms. Rati Agarwal of Rachana School Shahibaug tell us about how they convinced their

Announcing International Children’s Painting Competition

The United Nations Environment Programme has announced the 24th International Children’s Painting Competition. The theme is ‘We have the power!’ focusing on sustainable forms of energy i.e Energy that is clean and does not harm our planet in its extraction and use. Get details of the competition here.
I am Swachh, I am Swasthh campaign

Paryavaran Mitra programme’s 'I am Swachh, I am Swasthh' Campaign aligned with the all-India Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the clean India campaign of the Government of India. Schools have worked on several waste related issues such as Littering/Garbage Dumping, Polythene Pollution, Spitting, Reducing Waste, and Sanitation Habits.
