The Create to Inspire’ felicitation Ceremony

 


The Microsoft Create to Inspire School Programme is an initiative of Microsoft and GIZ in partnership with Centre for Environment Education in Ahmedabad. The programme has engaged 135 schools in Ahmedabad through creative activities and action projects that initiate sustainable consumption behaviours.

“I genuinely started feeling after doing the activities with the students that each and every individual can make a difference at their level in over coming energy crisis. I could motivate students for saving electricity by turning off the appliances whenever not in use.

The students and their parents could actually realize that energy problems in Ahmedabad will become acute after 40-50 years, and they were the ones who could actually do the Earth a favour by being energy saver and using renewable sources. I implemented energy saving practices at my home and also urged the students to do the same at their homes and in school. readmore...
