NOTE: at this point, station’s music director came in at that point and threatened that if I didn’t play 10 of the “New Adds” (aka the releases that she has added to the station’s library) I would be “written up.”  She then went on to point out that 2 write-ups results in a suspension, 3 would result in my losing my show.  (Not the first time this situation has arisen--and in in mid-show, I should point out.)  This, on a day when I was expecting Paul Ryder of The Happy Mondays at any moment for an afternoon of interviews and music.  So. I did play the 10 new adds—albeit in snippits buried under the brawling noise of a 10-minute track by NON simply called “Untitled”, the totality of musique concrete, here known as my “NON MEGAMIX”.  But for posterity, what follows is what’s mixed in amidst the noise:
