Alright, gang,
It has been a good long while since I've reached out to all you Part TIme Punks at the same time. (2012, matter of fact.) But TOMORROW, October 9, 2014 is Part Time Punks' Annual Fundrazor show on KXLU 88.9FM from 3-7pm PST.
Probably the most important day of the year to me. One of 'em, for sure.
Thanks to YOU all, the PTP Fundrazor show has been the #1 fund-raiser at the station for the past 3 years. And I gotta tell you, not only do your donations help keep KXLU on the air, but having PTP come in #1 means the Powers That Be are far less likely to fuck with me and/or try to cancel the show. (Last time they tried that was 4 years ago fyi.)
So yeah...that's why it matters. It matters a lot.
First of all, the big merch-y news is I made a brand new PTP/KXLU shirt. You'll find the image of that attached here. I'm only making as many as people order tomorrow. So one print run and that's it!
Second of all, literally ALL my favorite labels have donated records this year, so you can get amazing pledge premium packs by literally the best labels in the country (all of which include some special stuff...shirts, totes, stickers, propaganda...)
You will also see that I have called in a lotta favors & gotten autographed records from a lot of PTP's favorite bands. So there's that. Or I should say "those." And it's really a mind-blowing list this year.
AND, maybe most excitingly, I have spent the past year collecting and hoarding doubles of fantastic &/or rare records in my closet so that I can offer them up to YOU generous folks as "Premiums" for giving to the station. And this year, in an effort to clear out the closet, I'm offering a sort of special deal where if you pledge for one at it's regular price, you can choose from a select list of others for HALFprice.
