PTP/KXLU 2013 Fundrazor...TOMORROW!!!!

Greetings Part Time Punks.

It's THAT time of year again.  Yes.  The time when I reach out to all of you listeners to the radio show and ask/beg/plead/insist that you please tune into our annual Fundrazor show and pledge TOMORROW (aka October 10, 2013) 3-7pm PST!!!!  

My daughter Nico (now age 12) is sacrificing a day of school for the Cause so she can co-host with me asking/begging/pleading/insisting that you please please call in and GIVE!  (AND of course receive some crazy, crazy vinyl records & PTP swag, which you will see listed in the attachment of this email.)

FYI:  It is during this 8-day Fundrazor period that the station raises almost 90% of its total operating costs for the year.  It is also the only time during the year that any of us DJs at the station ever will ask you to please please give back

in whatever way you can financially for all of the FREE music we've been giving you all year long.

And of course, here at PTP HQ, I have added further incentives.  First of all in the form of VINYL RECORDS that have been piling up in my closet all year long.  The sort of records you hear and love on the radio show -- including

many rarities on Factory Records, 4ad, Creation and Rough Trade!!  [see attached list.]

AND of course, this is the one day out of the entire year when you are able to get copies of the Part Time Punks radio session samplers.  As you regular listeners know, I've been doing radio sessions with many of my favorite bands (obviously/shamelessly inspired by my hero, John Peel) for several years now.

Part Time Punks has been the #1 Fundraising show at the station for the last 3 years running now.  And, to be honest, I DO believe that this fact plays a large part in keeping Part Time Punks on the air.  (As you long-time listeners know, there have been more than one director who has come gunning for me...)

So, if you want to keep the Part Time Punks radio show on the air, 

I would ask/beg/plead with you all to please give as much as you can.
