Hello bandmates!
We have two pieces of big news!
1. The Growing Center gig tomorrow (Thursday)
The Second Line Brass Band is going to be playing from 6:00 - 7:30 at the Somerville Community Growing Center on Vinal Ave near Summer Street. Kids Band will join in at 6:30pm, with Rock Anthem, Ghost Busters, and Old Second Line. We invite you to join us early and stay late, and bring along any friends! We really hope to see you there.
2. New Practice Plan
Our practices have been ranging from good sized to small, and with people traveling over the summer, we want to make sure when we get together we have a big sound. We are going to take a few weeks off, and meet again on Sunday, July 15th. We are asking everyone to RSVP for this practice at: www.kids-band-july15.eventbrite.com
We are aiming for 15 young musicians to sign up for this practice. If that doesn't happen this time around, we'll try for another day, so please help us spread the word to your friends! Feel free to forward the message at the end of this email.
We are excited to play with you tomorrow, and look forward to an exciting practice on July 15th!

Join us Sunday July 15 from 3-5PM for a Kids Band practice at Parts & Crafts with The Second Line Brass Band. We're trying something new. We want to make sure we have a big, full sound, so we want 15 young musicians to sign up for this practice to make it happen. If we can't do that by July 15, we'll try for another date. We're excited for kids band to grow, so please help us spread the word! Feel free to use the flyer below or to direct people to our website.
