|Goodday everyone
I'm trying to install partkeepr on a public server hosted by hostso
and they don't enable the LDAP, is there any way to bypass it ?

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately LDAP is currently required. I have written a untested
document on how to remove LDAP support - please give it a try.

On a second thought, the odd thing is that the LDAP error occurs while
setting up the database. This seems to be a problem with your specific
hosting provider, I've had a similar user recently. I was not able to
figure out the specific configuration of the server which causes the issue.

All PartKeepr does is to pass the parameters you've entered in the
parameter details to open a MySQL connection. As I do not have an
account at hostso, I can't test it myself. You should ask your provider
why the database connections tries to authenticate via LDAP, which
should not happen.
