To whom it may concern,

I have previously downloaded Anaconda 4.3/Python 2.7 for 32-bit following instructor's manual.

Once I try to get the program started in the command prompt, I get an #216 error message that says that program's version I'm trying to execute is not compatible with the current Windows version.

This is what I typed in the terminal following instructor's manual:

I'm getting the following message: [Error:CreateProcess error=216, This version of %1 is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.]

Do you know if Partition Finder 2.1.1 is compatible with Windows 7 version of 32-bit, or can it only be executed in a 64-bit system?

Thank you very much for you help.

Best regards

Marta P.

Hi Marta,

As expected, this is an issue with PhyML. Please see the readme.md document in the /programs folder. This provides information on where to find 32 bit versions of PhyML that should work for you.

All you need to do is delete phyml.exe from the /programs folder, get the 32-bit version, then put it in the /programs folder and rename it phyml.exe.

Cheers,

Rob
