SyntaxError: unexpected character after line continuation character

Hey,

I get the following error when I try to run partition finder.

python /Users/babypie/Downloads/partitionfinder-2.1.1/partition_finder.cfg /Users/babypie/Documents/References/PhD/stanford/mitogenome

    ND1_pos1 = 3873-4828\3;

                          ^

SyntaxError: unexpected character after line continuation character

can someone please help. I am using partitionfinder-2.1.1  on a mac

Hi Anubhab,

To run PartitionFinder you need to point it to the executable script. Right now you are pointing python to a .cfg file instead.

Please follow the instructions that start on page 8 of the manual.
