Partition finder error

Hi 

I was trying to run Partition finder in Windows 10. After adding PartitionFinder.py, Test.phy and PartitioFinder.cfg I clicked enter, But it was showing error message like this " Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "F:\partitionfinder-2.1.1\PartitionFinder.py", line 21, in <module>
    from partfinder import main
  File "F:\partitionfinder-2.1.1\partfinder\main.py", line 23, in <module>
    import logtools
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'logtools' "

Can anyone please help me to fix this issue ???

Hi All,

The best thing to do here is to move your analyses to IQ-TREE2. The instructions are here: 

http://www.iqtree.org/doc/Advanced-Tutorial

Basically we've moved everything PartitionFinder does to IQ-TREE2. It will be faster, has more and better models, etc. etc. And you won't have to fight with old Python 2 code any more!
