Saludos!

Dear members of LAA-HECAP,
The European Strategy for Particle Physics (ESPP) is the cornerstone of Europe’s decision-making process for the long-term future of the field. Mandated by the CERN Council, it is formed through a broad consultation of the grass-roots particle physics community. A regular processto update the strategy is in progress focussing on the preferred option for the next collider at CERN and prioritising alternative options to be pursued if the chosen preferred plan turns out not to be feasible or competitive. Input from the community is expected by 31 March 2025 (guidelines availablehere).
We think that the LAA-HECAP community should submit a contribution, inclusively collating and highlighting the diverse opinions from researchers from our region. The purpose of this survey is to gather opinions, on an individual, personal, basis with this form that mapskey open questions.
A committee was appointed by LASF4RI to conduct this survey and coordinate the write-up of the LAA-HECAP contribution.
by 15 February 2025. Depending on the interest of our community, we may organize a town hall meeting in early March to further discuss a write-up of the contribution.
