We are organizing the Simons–Balseiro School and Workshop: Advanced Aspects of QFT, to be held at Instituto Balseiro (Bariloche, Argentina) on May 18–27, 2026. The event marks the 40th anniversary of the C-theorem and will bring together leading researchers and students to discuss structural aspects of quantum field theory, renormalization group flows, irreversibility, and related developments in high-energy theory.

The format combines a pedagogical school (May 18–22) with a research workshop (May 25–27).

School lecturers include:
Christopher J. Fewster, Jaume Gomis, Stefan Hollands, Mikhail A. Shifman, Mark Srednicki, and Alexander B. Zamolodchikov.
