Description: I get above mentioned error message when installing NSB products on WinServer 2012 R2 standard. The machine has no internet connection. Is this because of missing some root certificates for validating the digital signature? If yes what root certificates should be present on the machine?

Hi Sudheendra

I tried replicating your issue by building a fresh PC with no internet connection running Windows 2012 R2.  Since it had no internet the build had no Windows updates applied.
I installed ServiceControl on this PC without error.  This leads me to believe eou have a corrupt copy of the installer  as the out-of -the-box root certificate worked in my test
