Helpful information to include
Product name: nServiceBus
Version: 4.4.0
Stacktrace:
Description:

I am unable to get nServiceBus to work. I have reinstalled Visual Studio and nServiceBus 4.4.0 on a fresh (Enterprise) PC. It worked on the previous PC with the same enterprise setup.

When I restart the computer, I am sometimes able to get my server (a NServiceBus.Host app) started, but most of the time I just get the following error. This also happens when I try to run the samples.

---------------------------
Microsoft Visual Studio
---------------------------
Error while trying to run project: Unable to start program 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Particular Software\NServiceBus\v4.4\Samples\VideoStore.Msmq\VideoStore.ContentManagement\bin\Debug\NServiceBus.Host.exe'.

The Microsoft Visual Studio Remote Debugging Monitor (MSVSMON.EXE) does not appear to be running on the remote computer. This may be because a firewall is preventing communication to the remote computer. Please see Help for assistance on configuring remote debugging.

Please help me get going again with nServiceBus, because whether or not we will adopt nServiceBus in real systems is dependent on me being able to present a good solution for them.

Thank you.

Are you running Visual Studio as an administrator? I sometimes get strange exceptions if I don't.

Since you're not reproducing the error every time you start(?), I'm not sure if this will work: Your target framework of your application wouldn't by any chance have one of the "Client Profile" frameworks selected? We accidentally had this option selected on one of our projects, and it gave us some slightly voodoo-ish and hard to debug issues (shutting down, no exceptions etc.).
