I have prayed, "Listen יהוה אלהים to my prayer; and do not hide yourself from my supplication.
"Attend to me and hear me, I am distraught in my complaint and I seek your help.
"You know my heart and you know my soul, be gracious to me יהוה אלהים, during my time of distress.
"To you I come with my problems and ask for your help.
"As Dawidh cried to you, יהוה אלהים, I will cry to you!
"As Avraham argued with you, יהוה אלהים, I will argue with you with regards to what is right and what is wrong!
"Please יהוה אלהים lift me up out of the grave in which I have fallen, and return me to the ancient paths!
"Please allow righteousness to conquer all those things that are standing as road blocks between me and the life you want for me.
"I cannot do this on my own anymore, יהוה אלהים, so to you I turn and seek help.
"Please do not forsake me in my time of misery and need!
"Amen and amen!"
But you have forsaken me!
My supplications have gone unheard, I have been left unattended.
During my time of distress, you have proven to be merciless toward me.
I have cried out to you, יהוה אלהים, but you have not listened.
Misery overtakes me, and darkness is all I ascertain.
It is you that has allowed everything to be taken from me, and still it is you who I praise with all my heart.
You can destroy me, but I will still lift you up!
