OK, I'm trying to learn. I have done some investigation and have found
where the Catholic Church is responsible for changing what had been
known as the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Of course, there is no
authority to do this, so they did it just because at that time - they
had the power to influence everything in those days.

So, now. According to Jewish Law, what day is Sabbath?

The Father of creation bless you.

It corresponds to Friday night at sunset to Saturday night at sunset on the Gregorian (Christian) calendar, for the Western Hemisphere.

Shalom Mityetu,

Just wish to add that Qaraites have differed among themselves on the
issue of when a new day begins. Some still hold it commences at the
end of sunset when the sky goes totally dark. Hence a difference on
when the Shabbat day begins and ends.

Even so, traditional Qaraism maintains that to be extra careful,
Shabbat should end at total darkness in any case.

Therefore the "only" controversy that remains is when Shabbat
commences.

May YHWH be with you,
Zvi
