Dear Colleagues,

There is a land of many waters, called Guyana, from which flows the tremendous beauty of many peoples and parrots into our consciousness. I'll be traveling there tomorrow to help lead a parrot conservation workshop (see flyers below - there are still some slots open for those who might want to attend via zoom and work in the Guiana Shield area - contact me or the University contact on the flyer attached). After the workshop the conservation team will travel to the village of Karasabai for a tree-climbing workshop led by the USFS. Many thanks to them and all our partners, which include the USFWS, USAID, the Centre for the Study of Biological Diversity, the Guyana Tourism Agency, and Karasabai village.
