Everyone, this is a first class emergency alert!   For those of you that have beloved pets, birds or other animals... Kids... Relatives you like, you need to know that SWINE FLU is loose on this side of the pond.  That's right. SWINE FLU.  The CDC, (center for disease control) announced it on CNN this afternoon a little while ago.   So far there are over 60 DEATHS in Mexico, it was not disclosed how many in California and Texas have died.  The first disclosures from the CDC says they are VERY concerned about this, with GOOD cause!     It has been reported that this form of flu affects dogs, cats, birds, other animals AND humans.  It is completely new, there is NO immunisation available for this!  If you are as concerned about this as I am, you had better get out all the disinfection things you can muster because once this h its your state you and your pets could be in harms' way.   Remember Exotic Newcastles disease a few years ago..... Over 6 MILLION pet parrots died when the "bird Police" stormed the homes of everyone they discovered had pet birds and KILLED THEM ON THE SPOT!!!!!!!!   Birds were ripped from their cages by men in environmental safety suits, stuffed into garbage bags and gassed IN SIGHT OF THE KIDS WHO WERE THE BIRDS' OWNERS; old peoples' pets,, destroyed, people were actually hauled out of their homes by police - in handcuffs for trying to hide their parrots...  They lost their cases in court, and were sentenced to jail time or probation...depending on how much a defense they put up.   Oh yeah, the state made "reasonable compensation" for any bird they killed.   I don't know about any of you , but MY pets are beyond price!!!!!!!!!!!!   Hell will FREEZE over and they will pry my pet out of my cold, stiff hands before they get any of them!!!!!!!!!!   I strongly urge you to get informed about disinfection and have a plan about what you are going to do for your animals!!!!!!!!!!!   NOW is the TIME!!!  Once they declare a hot zone and you're in it you will be too late!!!!!!!!!!   Ginger   -------Original Message-------   From: Vivian Dreessen Date: 4/24/2009 3:55:41 PM To: Vivian Dreessen Subject: The castle at Ibiza.       Some of you may have an idea as to how far they can go back and recognize true art that we older people can still pick out of sky lines and appreciate true artistic talent and ability of the olden ages.   Thus, I now introduce you to an engineering feat high on the hills of yesterday.     The Castle at Ibiza.   This is a marvelous engineering feat that was done in 1554.
