GSOC 2012

I just got the email from Google, the Parrot Foundation has been
accepted into GSOC for the summer of 2012.

If you might be willing to be a mentor, let me know. We don't need a
final headcount now, but knowing an approximate number will help us to
request slots and stuff.

If you are currently a highschool or college student and want to hack
on Parrot for money (for a nice change of pace!) now's a great time to
start talking about project ideas.

If you know friends or family in college or highschool who might be
interested, please pass the word along and feel free to send anybody
to come talk to me (or any other interested developers) about it.

The best place right now is probably Andrew Whitworth's blog, which you
can find at http://whiteknight.github.com/ . Look for recent posts
that mention GSOC.
