Since I rather use Jetbrain's Ide than VS I can deal with the extra step. I even like that it only refreshes once you click VS. Sometimes I'm working on a layout on VS and hot reload is a bit aggressive and updates with every little change and I don't like that.

I am curious as to why Visual studio is more popular than jetbrains rider yet in my own honest opinion i feel rider has a far better performance and intelisense than visual studio. Even when it comes to adding references rider easily detects what you want to add while for visual studio will not give you that option. Maybe its just my bias, i would love to hear more opinions on which IDE you guys use.

JetBrains Rider allows users to configure, create and monitor their environments through a powerful and easy to use IDE backed by the familiar experience and shortcuts developers are used to when working with IntelliJ IDEA the popular JetBrains IDE. Install the AWS Toolkit for Rider and check out the AWS Toolkit User Guide. You can submit quick feedback from the IDE itself, or better yet submit or +1 feature requests on GitHub.

I am not seeing any report in rider.
Its not connected to SonarQube or SonarCloud, could it be used like this?
The project is a Unity project, Is there no support for C# project made through Unity?

We are using Codacy for our CI pipeline which is using SonarQube. There you can either select rules on codacy website or it can get the rules from a configuration file in the project repository and for SonarC# it is sonarlint.xml.
So by keeping single rule file locally in the repo I can sync rules for linting in rider and in codacy for CI pipeline.

Let's fix this section of code locally. Typically, when working in a Git repo, you should create a branch for your work and commit to that branch. Create a branch through IntelliJ using the built-in VCS > Git > Branches window. When prompted, use the branch name fixBugs. Once we have a branch to make our changes in, we can uncomment the code and rebuild the project. If you follow the instructions above to run the program again, you should see the Earth fly by.
