Anyone is welcome to apply to the SMC 2023 Summer School, but grad students with a high profile in the fields of engineering, audio technology, and digital arts will be preferred. The partyicipation at the SMC 2023 Summer School is FREE.
If requested by participants, we will release a certificate attesting 1.5 ECTS upon submission of a complementary written report about the project developed during the SMC Summer School.

SMAC Blood Screenings are usually offered in April and October of each year. Individuals can register via Civic Rec, the online payment system, or by calling the Department of Senior and Social Services at 973-694-1800 extension 3281. Pre-registration and payment are required prior to participation.
If an internship is unpaid and college credit is required, the course registration can be arranged through the SMAC internship coordinator. This must be done before the internship has begun; internships are not credited retroactively. The number of credits earned for these experiences may vary from 1 to 3, depending upon the responsibilities and time commitment involved, as well as the number of previous internships.

We have two policy servers in the cluster (12.52) on Windows machines. There are around 300 applications pointing to these 2 Production policy servers. We have a monitor to test the siteminder funcitonality using the Siteminder API. Today the Siteminder API (using the bootstrap smhost.conf) on one policy server could not connect to the policy server. It is verifed from the psmc and also from task manager that the policy server is running. When we try to load the smHost.conf file in the Sitmeinder test tool, it is throwing the error stating that the configurations could not loaded. we have tried to re-register the trusted host present in this SmHost.conf file thinking that the shared secret might have been corrupted. But the re-registration always fails even when we tried with the different trusted hostnames. During this issue, no logs were logged (30 minutes) in the smaccess.log file. The issue is resolved only after the policy server restart. There were no issues on the second policy server.
No errors were seen in the smps logs. In fact, nothing is logged in smps except that server stats command received (policy server conections and threads statistics). Unfortunately the policy server trace was not enabled during this time. It is very curious to know why no requests are coming to the policy server (as smaccess log is empty). Similar issue happened a week ago but on a different cluster partner and it resulted in outage as both there was issue in the both the servers in the cluster. During this issue time, we see communicaiton related errors in the webagent logs, AzReject, OnAuthattempt events in the smacess logs...Suprisely the AzReject is thrown not because of role missing but some other reason.. And also same is the case with the OnAuthAttempt (user exists in userStore). We could see some user store connecitivity issues in the smps logs. But at the same time validateAccept and AzAccept were happening fine for only few requests. For corresponding to AzReject event, we see the below erorr in the smps log:
