JOB SUMMARY:

The Environmental and Risk Analysis Services (ERAS) branch within the Policy and Program Development (PPD) unit is responsible for providing environmental impact and risk analyses to assist APHIS in sound decision making. The branch's work includes documentation for various statutes including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), and the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The professional staff members of ERAS are trained in various disciplines of the natural sciences, social sciences, analytical sciences, and statistical sciences.
