GENERAL SUMMARY
Teacher U is a revolutionary, practical, results-oriented teacher training program developed by the founders of Uncommon Schools, KIPP, and Achievement First. Over the past three years, Teacher U has managed a master's level program at Hunter College and recently has created a new, independent graduate program, Relay School of Education, which will begin operations in the summer of 2011.
Teacher U aims to revolutionize teacher training, in part, by leveraging best practices and developing new approaches related to online learning. The Director of Online Learning will be responsible for spearheading Teacher U's online learning initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Play a lead role in creating a strategic vision for online learning at Teacher U;
 Serve as Teacher U's resident expert on online education;

 Translate previously in-person curriculum to an online format;
