some notes editing breizhcamp sessions on parleys publisher html5
- can't CREATE a speaker. I launched Air publisher to create one then was available to the speaker list. Search by name may be ambiguous, please add mail / twitter
- a new presentation is "Public" by default. I suggest to set as Staging
- when editing timeline, sliding the chapter mark stop the video for playing. Air publisher allowed to place chapter mark without having to re-run the video again and again - probably not technically trivial, but significant usage regression
last note :
- THIS IS JUST AWESOME ! I never went to get all 2012 talks published, as it was difficult to distribute the work load. Now I "just" have to encode my video and upload to youtube, and team help me publish the talks. I even don't need to cut the begining/end as this can be done on youtube as well. I just miss an option to enhance the audio (level, noise reduction, ..) - youtube has video filters but no audio one. With such a feature I could batch encode all sessions videos without even having any manual step. Anyway this already is a huge progress, we have 5 sessions published one week after the conference, just limited by my Internet upload bandwith - and spare time :)
Do you prefer to cut your videos on youtube? If so is it easier there? What`s parleys missing here? :-)Thanks for all this valuable feedback!Benjamin
