no video ?

I've created http://parleys.com/play/51bededce4b0ed87703567bb/chapter0/about and set a link to video hosted on youtube (http://youtu.be/gH7yaU_iHRw) but can't see it in editor (so I guess I did it wrong) and neither can add video to the existing presentation

Can I add video to an existing presentation ?

Hey Nicolas,

what steps have you done to add the youtube video to the talk?
Stupid question but have you saved the talk after adding the video?
But to answer your question yes this should work (although still in beta state…) so let`s find out what went wrong!

Ah just quickly checked your video and it`s private!

So i`m not even able to see it on youtube and this will than also fail onside parleys.

indeed, I changed to be public

I just have set the youtube link on http://parleys.com/upload, but didn't had feedback on this URL to be valid or whatever

Can it be later added after the slides have been imported ?

Yes you should be able to do it.

When you go to your talk and select the timeline (submenu on the right) then you`ll get a menu

on the top left which is basically your media library. There is a tab youtube. When you go

there you can click on the small plus sign at the bottom and paste in a youtube id. This

will import the video into your library. The you can drag&drop this video to the timeline.

Then you start adjusting your slides… Don`t forget to save your changes (button at the bottom of the timeline) when you`re done.

Again it`s all still a bit beta but this will improve soon!

ok, it worked entering the youtube ID, but not the youtu.be URL

I've no problem with the beta status, just have to prepare for 165Gb video I have to post-process and publish on parleys after breizhcamp :)
