Competition Sign-Ups

Dear Members,

 

We had our early October meeting this Friday. For those who did not attend, just know that in October, many competitions are coming up

and we are starting our sign-ups NOW! If anyone is interested in participating any of the following competitions, please sign up with Ms. Arrington.

She will be posting a sign-up sheet outside on her door to let people register. Here are some of the upcoming events:

3. Mandelbrot Team Play

(4 per team; max: 3 teams)                          10/8                   One day from each set:  1/2-1/14, 1/30-2/12, 2/27-3/10

 

4. Rockdale                                                 10/17                         10/29

 

5. AMC/AIME                                              12/17                 2/7 or 2/22 and 3/15 or 3/28

 

6. Kennesaw                                               10/24                           11/2

 

7. Lassiter                                                   11/15                           12/3

 

8. GA Tech                                                  12/1                             3/3

 

9. Luella: Please contact Lisa for information; it's an individual competition, $10 cash

 

So far, the people who have signed up for both mandelbrot and mandelbrot team play are:

Please hurry and sign up if you are interested, SERIOUSLY!!! :)

 

Also, please bring money to Ms. Arrington for Smencils. We need to sell them otherwise we won't have funds to all of these

competitions!!! You are able to get guided study passes to sell them during school!
