Hi Math Team,

Our team has been invited to participate in the State Varsity Math
Tournament. This is a great honor. Not all teams are invited. Teams are
invited based on their scores of previous competitions. We will be putting
together a team to compete.

The tournament will be held at Macon State College in Macon on Saturday,
April 28, 2012. Registration will be held from 8:30-9:00. The competition
will be held from 9:15-12:45, followed by a lunch break, and the awards
from 2:30-2:45.

If you are interested in competing please email me by noon on Tuesday and
Ms. Granade and I will put together a team to attend.

Also, this is the competition where the people scoring in the top 30
or 40 are invited to compete on the Georgia ARML team, basically a
math team of the state of Georgia. One large competition is held in
early June, and a few minor competitions throughout the year are
administered by the team.
