One wonders if Superintendent McPadden was out and about in the park over the weekend (or if he was even in the park) to see the impacts to visitors and the resources and if so, would he still say that there are no resource impacts. Of course he would. Not likely to admit he has been wrong. Assuming the decision to terminate the reservation system was not his, he would have been far better off not making any statements about it.
