Is there an official spot we need to sign up??
We are planning on doing at least four parking spaces with other San
Francisco groups, and it looks like they have their own list, but I
just wanted to make sure there wasn't an official route we needed to
take.

We're so excited!!! It's going to be awesome!

Nothing official, but we'd love to include all the locations on the map. Email location, park name, and a URL if you like, to matthew...@tpl.org

Hi All,

We plan on setting up shop in two parking spaces on Howard between 2nd and New Montgomery in San Francisco. Any suggestions from former Park(ing) Day folks who can recommend a good time to get there to reserve our spot. Is 6 AM reasonable?

Thanks!
Elka

Hi Elka,

Last year we (TPL) had our park at New Montgomery and Mission and are planning to have it in the same spot this year. A lot of the parallel spots downtown are no stopping zones during rush hour and only become metered spaces at 9. I'm not sure if that's true on that stretch of Howard, but I'd check that out first. If that's not the case, 6am should be totally reasonable...7am would probably work.

Good luck!

Jake

Thanks Jake!

Yep, we checked out that spot and i believe it's half hour metered parking. It took some searching though to find spaces that weren't loading zones.
