Greetings PARKers!

This message just came in from our friends at Friends of the Urban Forest - they'll be lending trees for your PARK(ing) Day PARK! Read on...

If you are in San Francisco or the Bay Area you are in luck!

Pick-Up Thursday, September 18, 2:30 - 4:30 pm

Friday, September 19, 8 - 10 am

Please bring a vehicle that can support an 8 to 11 ' tree and a deposit check for $100 per tree.

Drop Off Friday, September 19, 2:30 - 4:30 pm

Saturday, September 20, 9-11 am

Please return trees on time. If branches or trunk are damaged or trees are not returned on time, the deposit will be forfeited.

Directions to the FUF Office

From Lombard St. heading west, stay in left turn lane through the Lombard Gate. Go right on Presidio Blvd (at the three-way stop sign), Presidio Blvd turns into Lincoln. Continue on Lincoln (pass the Thoreau Center for Sustainability on the right). Turn right onto Girard Rd., which veers to the right and turns into Edie. There is a parking lot on the right, and the FUF office building faces Edie (bldg # 1007). Look for a two-story metal handicap access ramp attached to the last building, follow the sidewalk going underneath the ramp to FUF's office door. Click here for map.
